I just read a great article by staff at the Mayo Clinic.
I liked how the author addressed that there are many avenues to one’s spirituality, and that no matter how spirituality’s achieved, the end result can help relieve stress.
Religion and Spirituality are not synonymous. Watercolor painting may be an act of spirituality to one person — taking them to a deep feeling of connection with a higher power. To someone else, prayer or meditation may be their answer. Another person may feel a connection with God (or whatever they call that profound feeling of peace) in the form of a walk at the beach, or in the forest.
