The Haircut

A year before cancer, I’d donated 10″ of my hair to Locks of Love. (Don’t confuse it with locks for love. They’re different.) I’d always loved hats and scarves, but this wasn’t exactly what I had in mind. . .

    • Thanks for sharing. My hair was so thick, my scalp hurt during the last part of the shave. I decided to go with the “Sluggo” look (Nancy and Sluggo comics, 1938.) When I came back a week later, my hair was shaved off with no drama, and no pain, and by then the chemo had really put a stop to hair growth.
